As the nights get longer and the excuses for staying in and watching your favorite shows are abundant, there’s plenty of time to watch our favorite fall shows. Here’s what’s keeping the Burnt Brain Media crew marking their calendars for new episodes.

The Boys (Prime Video)

The show has a cult like following for a reason, you either get it or you don’t. The fifth and final season is expected to drop sometime next year, so it’s the perfect time to refresh your memory on all the plot lines (and have another excuse to have JDM on your screen).

House of Dragon (Max)

Something about the chill in the air this time of year instinctively makes us want to watch Game of Thrones. The visuals of this show are breathtaking and though some can argue that the pacing and storyline are less than favorable. Still, when GOT is good, it’s GOOD.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon (AMC+)

This surely cannot be a surprise to see on our list. When the leaves start changing color we are DOWN for a Walking Dead rewatch, but these past couple autumns we have been fed new seasons of Daryl Dixon. Now in Spain, seeing Daryl and Carol on our screens again feels right; we can’t wait to see what’s coming next in the Walking Dead universe.

Only Murders in the Building (Hulu)

Another favorite of many, Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin make a dream team. Between the heaviness of much of the media we consume, it’s a good, fun palette cleanser. Think of it being Pretty Little Liars big cousin – now you can understand why it’s the time of year to watch.
